Manila – Quantity Solutions Inc. (QSI), one of the leading cost estimating and project management firms in the country, celebrated its 10th anniversary at Okada Manila on September 20, 2018. The auspicious event served as a thanksgiving and appreciation night for the clients, suppliers and partners who have placed their trust and confidence in the company in the past decade, championing Filipino ingenuity in engineering throughout the years.
The firm also collaborated with the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (AmCham Philippines), a longtime partner of nation-building in the country, for the 1st Nation Builder Awards. The Nation Builder Award is given to an individual or company who has continuously contributed to the economic development of the countryside with a focus on human capital. This award aims to recognize the value of these developments in uplifting the future of our Filipino families.
The ten awardees were AIDEA Inc., Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Ayala Land Inc., Cargill Philippines, Development Bank of the Philippines, D.M. Consunji Inc., Fluor Philippines, Quezon Power (Philippines) Limited Co., Sutherland Philippines and Texas Instruments Philippines. They were chosen due to their noble pursuit of providing quality jobs and exemplary contribution in the development of the nation’s oftentimes neglected countryside.
QSI believes that most of the country’s wealth is concentrated in the National Capital Region (NCR) limiting the growth of the countryside. Congestion in Manila is due to the migration of regional workers who look for better opportunities that are not readily available in the provinces. Provincial projects create a viable option for Filipinos to find employment and help develop their local economies without congesting the metropolis.
By recognizing these trailblazers in development, QSI hopes to inspire others to take their investments to the countryside.
